How many languages do you speak? Please write them in a list. Which is your mother tongue?
Spanish (mother tongue), English, beginning to learn Chinese.
What is your favorite sport or hobby in your free time? Why is it so? Any interesting stories on it?
When I have free time I like to exercise, I am passionate about playing soccer, boxing, and doing gym. Something interesting is that when I was 15 years old, I signed my first professional contract playing soccer and because I was the rookie, the team shaved my hair as a hazing, so I was in High School with my bald head for a long time haha.
Top 3 things we don’t know about you? Might be something funny, quirky or strange 🙂
What was the most surprising thing you learned about Asia while working here?
That there are more than quite a few languages spoken in Asia, many of which have multiple dialects and variants. This makes translation and localization extremely complex and fascinating.
Favorite book or a book that changed your mindset and why it did?
Make Your Bed by William H. McRaven but the book that I read every year is The Little Prince.
Your most extreme experience so far in your life/biggest challenge in your life?
(2021) I had a fracture in my spine due to a fall, where I had surgery and the doctor put nails in my spine, fortunately, everything went well and I was able to recover and return my life to normal. It was quite an accident for me and my family. I had to learn to walk again. But with a lot of effort and therapy, I managed to recover and get a better physique than I had before my accident.
